NBR과 폴리염화비닐 열가소성 고무의 제조에 관한 연구
Preparation of Thermoplastic Elastomer Containing Poly(Vinyl Chloride) with NBR
초록
가공성과 내오존성을 향상시키기 위하여 acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber(NBR)에 poly(vinyl chloride)를 blend하였다. PVC의 함량이 증가할수록 신장율은 감소하였고, 인장강도는 증가하였다. 인장강도와 신장율로 측정한 내오존성은 PVC의 함량이 l0wt%일 때 가장 좋은 값을 나타내었다. 일반적으로 고무의 가교제로 사용되는 유황을 대신하여 금속 산화물을 첨가하여 blend의 물성을 조사한 결과, 금속 산화물로 가교된 NBR/PVC blend는 유황으로 가교된 NBR/PVC와 유사한 기계적 물성을 나타내었다.
Poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC) was blended to acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber(NBR) in order to improve the processibility and ozone-resistance. As the component of PVC was increased, elongation at break was decreased while tensile strength was increased. At 10 weight percent of PVC, NBR/PVC blend showed the best ozone-resistance estimated by measuring elongation at break at tensile strength of the blends after appropriate physical treatments. NBR/PVC blend vulcanized by metal oxide showed almost the same mechanists properties as conventional NBR/PVC blend vulcanized by sulfur.
