A quantitative generalization of the indices of swelling process of polymers, containing the nonhydrocarbon groups (polyurethanes, fluoropolymers) in organic solvents, as well as of the process of dissolution of poly(methyl methacrylate) was successfully realized by means of multiparametric equations, which take into account the solvents capacity for specific and nonspecific solvation of polymers and solvents' molar volumes.
