Dynamics of the dissociation of a disulfide biradical on a CdSe nanoparticle surface
Fluorescence spectroscopy and electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) provide insights into the nature and dynamics of disulfide binding to the surface of CdSe quantum dots. We show evidence that adsorption occurs slowly but irreversibly, leading to time-dependent quenching efficiency.
