Poly(ether ether ketone)와 Polyarylate 블렌드의 열안정성과 점탄성 거동
Thermal Stability and Dynamic Viscoelasticity of Poly(ether ether ketone)-Polyarylate Blends

Poly(ether ether ketone)(PEEK)와 Polyarylate(PAr)의 블렌드에 대한 열적, 형태학적, 동적 점탄성 거동에 대하여 조사하였다. 시차 열분석(DSG) 결과에서 PEEK의 함량에 따른 PAr의 열적 성질에 대한 변화가 크게 관찰되지 않았으나, TGA 분석에서는 PEEK의 함량이 증가될수록 블렌드물의 열안정성이 상승하는 결과를 나타냈으며, 이들 열분석 결과로 부터 상용성이 없는 계임을 알 수 있었다. 저장 탄성률(E')과 tanδ는 130℃∼260℃의 온도 범위에서 0.3, 1, 5, 10, 30Hz의 주파수로 측정하였다 블렌드의 동적 점탄성 성질은 주파수와 조성에 의존하였으며, 활성화 에너지는 Arrhenius equation에 의하여 결정하였다. 그리고, 블렌드의 형태학적 연구에 대해서도 고찰하였다.
We investigated thermal, morphological and dynamic mechanical properties of an in situ, blend of Poly(ether ether ketone)(PEEK) and Polyarylate(PAr). Differential scanning calorimetry(DSC) thermograms of the blends indicated that the thermal properties of PAr did not chance noticeably with the amount of PEEK but thermogravimetric analysis(TGA) showed that thermal stability of the blend increased with the fraction of PEEK. Immiscibility was checked with thermal data. The storage modulus(E') and loss tangent(tanδ) were recorded at frequencies ranging from 0.3Hz to 30Hz across a temperature range of 130℃ to 260℃. The dynamic mechanical relaxation properties of the blends changed remarkably with frequency and composition. Activation energies of the blends determined by the Arrhenius plots. Morphological studies were also performed on the blends.
