Filters which are a combination of fibrous polypropylene and sulfonate sorbents with disperse ferromagnetic materials are proposed for regeneration of transformer and industrial oils to the level of commercial oils. When such filters are used, traditional sulfuric acid treatment is eliminated from the production cycle.
