Vapor-liquid equilibria for the binary mixtures of 2,3-butanediol with n-butanol, n-butyl acetate, and ethyl acetate at 101.3 kPa
Isobaric vapor-liquid equilibria data have been determined at 101.3kPa for the binary mixtures of (2,3-butanediol+n-butanol), (2,3-butanediol + ethyl acetate) and (2,3-butanediol + butyl acetate). Thermodynamic consistency has been tested for all vapor-liquid equilibria data. The non-ideality of the vapor phase has been considered by using Hayden-O'Connell equation. The activity coefficients have been correlated satisfactorily with Margules, Wilson, NRTL, and UNIQUAC models. (c) 2007 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
