Black phosphorus and its composite for lithium rechargeable batteries
The transformation of amorphous red phosphorus into orthorhomhic black phosphorus is demonstrated by a simple method. ne method uses a high-energy mechanical milling technique at ambient temperature and pressure. Modification with carbon produces a composite that shows enhanced electrochemical discharge/charge behavior when used as an anode material for lithium-ion rechargeable batteries.
