A study of the tissue-blood carbon dioxide exchange
A study of the tissue-blood carbon dioxide exchange
One of the major requirements of the body is to eliminate CO2 within the body CO2 is transported in three different forms: physically dissolved, HCO3- or carbamate. To eliminate CO2, mass transfer of CO2 has to occur from the tissue into the conveclive transport medium blood . We develop the kinetic equations for the CO2 concentration in the tissue-blood CO2 exchange system, and obtain analytical solution and numerical solution.
