Pertti Rantala from Filtermat Oy, Finland and Pirjo Kuula-Vaisanen from Tampere University of Technology, Finland describe a new high capacity ceramic membrane system for the filtration of slurries with low solid content where solid reclamation or water recycling are a requirement in the manufacturing process.
