Liquid-liquid equilibria of N-methyl-alpha-pyrrolidone with pentane, hexane, heptane, octane and nonane were measured by the synthetic method. The data were evaluated using the NRTL equation. From the parameters of this equation the excess Gibbs energies and the excess enthalpies were calculated.
