Liquid-liquid equilibria of N-methyl-alpha-pyrrolidone with pentane, hexane, heptane, octane and nonane were measured by the synthetic method. The data were correlated by the NRTL-equation. From the parameters of this equation the excess Gibbs energies and the excess enthalpies were calculated.
