Bubble Points Measurement for System Chloroform-Ethanol-Benzene by Inclined Ebulliometer
An inclined ebulliometer with a pump-like stirrer which can realize the quasi-static operation was designed. By using this apparatus bubble points were measured for the binary systems ethanol-chloroform at temperature from 306 K to 348 K, benzene-ethanol at temperature from 295 K to 347 K and ternary system chloroform-ethanol-benzene at 101.33 kPa and 79.99 kPa. The comparison between the experimental and literature results for binary systems are given. The ternary VLE was predicted by using Kohler’s model with binary parameters alone.
