Densities, viscosities, and excess properties of (N-methylmorpholine plus cyclohexane, plus benzene, and plus toluene) at T = (298.15,303.15,313.15,323.15) K
Densities, rho, and viscosities, eta, of binary mixtures (N-methylmorpholine + benzene, + toluene, and + cyclohexane) were measured over the whole mole fraction range at T = (298.15, 303.15, 313.15, 323.15) K. Densities and viscosities were used to compute the excess molar volumes V-E, viscosity deviation Delta eta, and the excess free energies of activation for viscous flow Delta G*(E). These data have been fitted to Redlich-Kister polynomial equation to derive the coefficients and estimate the standard deviation values. A discussion on these quantities in terms of molecular interactions is reported. (C) 2007 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
