USE OF CAVITATION FOR CRACKING HYDROCARBONS
It was shown that at the beginning of the stage of disappearance of cavitation, the volume fraction of caverns should not exceed the threshold value: similar to 10%. When this condition is violated, more energy is expended on interaction of caverns and not on creation of anomalously high pressure values and temperatures in the vicinity of cavern collapse points. It was shown that it is necessary to attain the maximum cavern density in the cavitation medium of the petroleum product in order to intensify cracking.
