Extraction of C-6-C-8 arenes from unified reformate by mixed triethylene glycol-sulfolane- water extraction agent
A seven-stage counterflow extraction of C-6-C-8 arenes from a unified reformate (feedstock of the extraction unit in an LG-35-8/300B plant) by a mixed extraction agent including sulfolane and triethylene glycol (TEG) with a mass ratio of 1:1 and 60:40 % and a process temperature of 50 and 70A degrees C is investigated. The increased sulfolane content in the mixed extraction agent results in a fourfold reduction in recyclate consumption; this permits an increase in the yield of the gasoline and doxylene cuts from the plant employed to produce overall xylenes that can be additionally refined in the extraction unit of the LG-35-8/300B plant.
