High-Rate Lithium-Ion Battery Cathodes Using Nanostructured Polyaniline/Carbon Nanotube Array Composites
Nanostructured polyaniline (PANI)/carbon nanotube array (CNTA) composite electrode was realized by a combination of a CNTA substrate and an electrodeposition technique. The composite electrode presents superior rate performance (54 and 48 mAh g(-1) at 60 and 260 C rates) and high stability because of its uniformly distributed PANI nanolayer (only 7-9 nm) and developed conductive paths.
