INVESTIGATION OF GAS-LIQUID OXYGEN-TRANSPORT 3-PHASE BIOREACTOR
The mass transfer factors affecting rates of oxidative enzymatic reactions were investigated in two- and three-phase bubble column reactors. The dependence of gas-liquid oxygen transfer on process and structural parameters was studied in detail in intensively aerated bioreactor. The enzymatic oxidation of glucose to gluconic acid catalyzed by free and immobilized glucose oxidase was used as a model process.
