An influence of non-uniform activity profile in the catalyst pellet on yield of the heterogeneous fixed bed reactor with the irreversible, isothermal, single reaction has been analyzed. External mass and heat resistances have been considered. A comparison of the reactor results with those, obtained for a single catalyst pellet has been carried out.
