Fluorapatites were prepared by solid state reaction and by precipitation at 100 degrees C. The influence of sintering temperature on chemical and phase compositions of fluorapatites was evaluated. The samples were sintered at different temperatures for 60 minutes, in Ar gas flow. The determination of phase and chemical compositions of the samples was done by XRD and by analytical methods whose accuracy and reproducibility were assessed previously.
