On Continuous-Time Parameter-Identification by Using Observers
This paper describes a continuous-time parameter estimation technique. This technique consists of designing two observers and comparing the observation bias due to parameter uncertainties. The comparison of both biases is used to estimate the parameter values. It comes out that, under some conditions, the system of equations to solve reduces to a division of output signals of the observers. Optimization of the design to reject disturbances is also discussed.
