Instantaneous impulse response of nonlinear system
New mathematical models for nonlinear systems which admit both standard integrable and impulsive inputs are developed. It is shown that instantaneous response of a nonlinear system to an impulse is not, in general, single-valued, whereas a particular response can be selected through the construction of an auxiliary system. The complete integrability of the auxiliary system is proven to guarantee uniqueness of the impulse re sponse.
