8-(4-Amino-6-arylthioureido-s-triazin-2-yl-amino)-7-hydroxy-4-methyl coumarin derivatives have been synthesised by the condensation of 8-amino-7-hydroxy-4-methyl coumarin. Their spectral properties are evaluated. Moreover, these compounds are applied on polyester fibres and their dyeing properties have also been studied.
