Development of mathematical model for prediction of concentration in the pyrolysis of biomass material
In this paper, a mathematical model has been developed for prediction of concentration profiles of biomass under isothermal and non-isothermal conditions. In this model, char and volatiles are considered to have been formed in an intermediate stage instead of utilizing the concept of an intermediate. Concentration profiles and pyrolysis behaviour have been predicted over a wide range of temperature under isothermal and non-isothermal conditions.
