Extraction of aromatics from naphtha reformate using combination solvents
Two combination solvents, viz. tetraethyleneglycol-N-methylpyrrolidone and tetraethyleneglycol-N-formylmorpholine were used for the extraction of aromatics from naphtha reformate containing 46.5% aromatics and the phase equilibria were determined at 40 degrees C. The data were correlated using Bachman, Othmer-Tobias and Hand Coordinates.
