Ksb2, a New Structure Composed of Ribbons of Edge-Shared 6-Membered Sb Rings
This note presents a unique structure which can be regarded as a missing link in the large number of polyanionic structures which are found in main-group compounds. The Sb atoms form a six-membered ring in the chair conformation that are connected to form a 1-dimensional ribbon. Electron counting and temperature dependent resistivity show that this compound can be classified as a Zintl compound.
