Synthesis and Solid-State Structure of (HB(3,5-Me(2)Pz)(3))in(S-4)(3,5-Me(2)Pzh) (Pz Equals Pyrazolyl) - The First Neutral Indium Polysulfide Complex
The reaction of [HB(3,5-Me(2)pz)(3)]InCl2 (pz = pyrazolyl) with K2S5 yields the first neutral group 13 metal polysulfide complex [HB(3,5-Me(2)pz)(3)]In(S-4)(3,5-Me(2)-pzH). The structure of this complex has a distorted octahedral geometry about indium. The InS4 ring is arranged in a half-chair configuration.
