Slow viscous flow between hexagonal cylinders
The creeping flow between packed hexagonal cylinders is solved by eigenfunction expansions and point match methods. Both longitudinal flow and transverse flow are considered. It is found that the junction, which is the confluence of three channels, has considerable effect on the flow and resistance of the whole fluid network.
