Enhanced Self-Organized Dewetting of Ultrathin Polymer Films Under Water-Organic Solutions: Fabrication of Sub-micrometer Spherical Lens Arrays
Sub-micrometer spherical lenses and lens arrays are fabricated by freeing the dewetting of ultrathin (<100 nm) polymer films from interfacial tension limitation and by harnessing the self-organization of films. The lens size is continuously tunable from 200 nm to few tens of micrometers with contact angles ranging from 30 degrees-150 degrees. [GRAPHICS] .
