REGENERATION OF WORKING SOLUTION IN THE HYDROGEN PEROXIDE PRODUCTION PROCESS
The regeneration of working solutions is an important procedure during the anthraquinone process for hydrogen peroxide production, which commonly uses activated alumina for this purpose. This study investigated the impact of different factors on regeneration performance using a fixed bed reactor and found that temperature, contact time, and the catalyst's active component were the key factors. Catalysts with higher alkali content improve regeneration performance. The catalysts' binders and the post-treatment method affect their physical strength, but steam counteracts this due to the reaction of the active component with water.
