Synthesis and structure of solvent-free hexameric magnesium tri(tert-butyl)silylphosphandiide
Hexameric magnesium tri(terl-butyl)silylphosphandiide crystallizes with a hexagonal Mg6P6 prism and is a rare example of a solvent-free phosphandiide of a hard main group metal. The magnesium atoms show a coordination number of 3 in a trigonal pyramidal surrounding.
