Reaction of [Pd2Cl2(mu-dppm)(2)] with arenesulfonyl azides. Kinetics and mechanism of formation of arenesulfonylimido-bridged A-frame adducts
Substituted arenesulfonyl azides react with [Pd2Cl2(mu-dppm)(2)] in an entropy-controlled electrophilic process, affording an imido-bridged A-frame adduct via N-2 extrusion. The Hammett relationship is valid for the 4-substituents.
