A re-assessment of the thermodynamic properties of iodine condensed phases
Thermodynamic properties of iodine have been calculated to 500 K. Specific heat anomalies accepted for the solid phase in previous reviews have been eliminated and a smooth specific heat curve derived. Corrections previously applied to high temperature solid and liquid enthalpy measurements were shown to be unnecessary. (C) 2011 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
