Approximate nonlinear receding-horizon control laws in closed form
The receding-horizon control problem for continuous-time, affine nonlinear systems is approximated by a multi-step predictive control formulation. Under a controllability condition, a closed-form nonlinear feedback control law is obtained. The output-tracking problem is treated in a similar fashion and a closed-form tracking control law is constructed. The stability properties of these control laws are examined.
