In the design and operation of energy intensive systems the problem of improving efficiency is very important. The main way for solving this problem is optimization. This paper describes the general approach for thermoeconomical optimization systems with linear structure. A method based on the building and analysis of a special graph of thermoeconomical expenditure is suggested.
