Parametric analysis of direct contact evaporation process in a bubble column
This paper presents a detailed analysis of the influence of several important parameters, such as the breakage of droplets, the driving temperature difference, the initial mean diameter of drops from the bottom distributor, and the maximum diameter of stable drobbles on the direct-contact evaporation process in a bubble column. Some simulation results agree with experimental data reasonably well. Numerical calculations show that there is an approximately proportional relationship between the evaporation height and the reciprocal of the driving temperature difference.
