A Novel Enzymatic Synthesis of Quinoline Derivatives
A new mild enzymatic methodology for synthesizing quinoline derivatives by Friedlander condensation was developed. A series of quinoline derivatives were synthesized and characterized by H-1 NMR, C-13-NMR, IR and MS. The probable enzymatic mechanism was proposed. It provides a novel method to prepare quinoline derivatives.
