STABILITY OF POLY-alpha-OLEFIN OILS AND METHODS FOR INCREASING IT
The stability of poly-alpha-olefin oils with molecular mass of from 500 to 1000 is investigated. It is found that the molecular mass, temperature, and introduction of various antioxidizers affect the thermo-oxidative stability of oils. It is shown that poly-alpha-olefin oils with antioxidizers can be used as liquid dielectrics.
