The safety provision during venting of gaseous hydrogen to atmosphere at the liquid propellant rocket engine test stand complex using LH2+LOX
One of the problems of liquid propellant rocket engine stand development is the provision of gaseous hydrogen venting from both liquid propellant rocket engine and stand systems to atmosphere while technological operations of cold and hot testing are carried out. The following matters are considered in the present paper: The matters of air penetration into the venting pipes and systems prior to and during hydrogen venting; The analysis of application of the venting devices installed on venting pipes to provide fire and explosion safety during hydrogen venting to atmosphere; The experience in operation use of the hydrogen systems of high thrust liquid rocket engine test stand complex during gaseous hydrogen venting to atmosphere
