Within the crushing process, significant improvements in capacity and crushing product are obtained by the reconstruction of the secondary and tertiary crushers. The total energy consumption is reduced considerably. Optimal crushing product is obtained by using the adequate crusher construction and power with minimum operation costs and maximum equipment utilization. Comparing the operation efficiency of Symons and Hydrocone crushers, we find Symons crusher achieved better results in tertiary crushing, where the working conditions are very hard. Installing the same number of secondary and tertiary crushers, a part of operation is transmitted from tertiary to secondary crushers where the liner wear is tree times less, which significantly influences on the cost reduction in the crushing process. Automatic control introduction in crushing process is of great importance for technology result improvements and operation efficiency of crushing plant.
