A purpose-developed algorithm for computation of variables of the esterification process in the column/external reactors system is proposed herein. The findings of the process, for a variety of that system structures, are presented. The criteria applying to the selection of the most beneficial structure, with regard to the real number of plates in a column, are also introduced.
