Modelling of low-pressure methanol synthesis - III. Optimization of the industrial bubble column slurry reactor
Computer simulation of the low-pressure methanol synthesis in the bubble column slurry reactor was performed. The methanol productivity, production rate, carbon monoxide conversion and methanol concentration in the outlet gas were optimized. The results of the calculations and the conclusions may be employed in the process of designing of the industrial plant.
