Cartridge designed to optimize the sterile filtration of beer
The removal of spoilage bacteria is an important step In the brewing process because if not effectively removed spoilage of the beer can occur. However, process conditions within the brewing Industry are notoriously demanding, i.e. high flow rates and high pressures, so such removal systems need to be robust. In the following article Michael Scanlon, Millipore Corp, USA, explains why the recently launched Brewpore(TM) cartridge filter, with its broad chemical compatability and resistance to thermal stress, is ideal for the microbial stabilization of beer.
