High-capacity RO elements offer plant operators smaller footprints
Large reverse osmosis (RO) plants are becoming more common because of the imbalance between supplies of good quality raw water and the demand for high-quality potable water. Space is also often at a premium, so despite the need for higher flow rates, it is important to minimize the floor space of the plants. To help plant operators achieve this, Koch Membrane Systems, Inc. has developed the MegaMagnum((R)) RO element. Antonia von Gottberg explains why using this high-capacity RO technology makes sense.
