Canadian food plant uses circular vibratory separator to enhance its soya process
Pak Fok Food Products Inc, a large diary and soya bean processor based in Ontario, Canada, has recently opened a new plant in the Richmond Hill area of the province to enhance the quality and productivity of its soya milk concentrate process. The company has installed a circulator vibratory screen from Kason Corp, with a diameter of 122 cm, in its new plant to meet the facility's high flow rate of 4800 l/h and to remove any particles from the extracted soy bean juice that are larger than 11 microns. According to the manufacturer, the separator and fully automated new plant is delivering a product with enhanced flavour, texture, and 'mouthfeel', which soya beverage consumers will find more appetizing.
