제목 Viscoelastic Properties of Coatings for Stringed Instrument as a Function of Coating Thickness
초록 Coatings for stringed instrument have viscoelastic properties that effect acoustic property of coatings for stringed instrument. And the coating thickness also effects viscoelastic and acoustic property. To measure viscoelastic properties of coatings for stringed instrument as a function of coating thickness the rigid-body pendulum type physical properties testing instrument (RPT) and the dynamic mechanical thermal analysis (DMTA) were used. Used coatings were oil stain, polyurethane topcoat, natural varnish, cashew, and UV-curable epoxy acrylate coating and wood specimen was Picea jezoensis.
