제목 | Preparation of ultra large hollow sphere mesoporous silica using facile emulsion system |
초록 | We report the facile preparation method of hollow sphere mesoporous silicasthrough simple emulsion system can control the geometries using parametersrelated to emulsion formation. This emulsion system was composed of continuousphase (aqueous acid solution), dispersed phase (silica source and organicsolvent) and Pluronic® P123 (triblock copolymer). The particles synthesizedunder the condition of stable emulsion formation exhibited both hollowstructure and mesoporous shells. In addition, as adjusting the composition ofthe organic solvent and the input amount of P123, it was possible tosuccessfully control the total particle size (150~300 μm), hollow size (30~90 μm), pore size(3.58~6.58 nm), specific surface area (543.5~826.3 m2/g), porevolume (0.658~1.535 cm3/g) of the synthesized particles. Theseresults indicate that the hollow sphere mesoporous materials can be synthesizedby simple parameter control related to formation of emulsion in the reactantmixture. |
