제목 Enhancement of sensing behavior by decorating carbon nanotubes with metal nanoparticles  
초록 : Owing to outstanding characteristics of carbon nanotubes (CNTs) such as small size, large surface area, hollow geometry, and highly sensitive electrical properties, CNTs have been widely used in a variety of devices and systems. We have fabricated Metal-functionalized CNT sensors. The sensing capabilities of multi-walled (MW) CNTs in regard to reduction gases were significantly enhanced by adding metal nanoparticles. Since the sensor behavior was dependent on the size of metal nanoparticles, the size was required to be controlled and optimized. The CNT-metal sensors exhibited a fine performance with respect to reduction gas. We have discussed the related sensing mechanisms.
