Biodiesel transformation based on vegetable and animal mixed oil |

Vegetable oil(canola) and animal fats(lard) were transesterified to synthesize the biodiesel. The biodiesel was synthesized based on the mixed oil of canola oil and lard. Methyl ester content and linolenic acid were measured with the mole ration of raw material. Then, the standard content of methyl ester is more than 96% and linolenic acid is less than 12%. The methyl ester content was maximum when the mole ratio of canola oil to lard was 2:8 and 1:9. The linolenic acid content was satisfied to be the standard and minimum when the mole ratio of canola oil to lard was 2:8 and 1:9. The viscosity was high with the lard content. The physical properties as the biodisel was optimal when the mole ratio of canola oil to lard was 1:9. |
