Ordered mesoporous materials have been recently received enormous attentions in many potential applications for special catalytic reactions due to its relatively higher surface area and regular pore structures compared with amorphous silica support. Many researchers have reported the various results using cobalt-based Fischer-Tropsch synthesis (FTS) catalysts supported on ordered mesoporous materials. In order to obtain a higher dispersion of active metals with a lower wax deposition on surfaces, some hexagonally ordered mesoporous silica such as SBA-15, ordered mesoporous carbon supports such as CMK series, have been recently investigated as supporting materials for FTS reaction. In the present study, mesoporous materials such as Co/CMK3, mesoporous Co¬3O4, and Co/SBA15 catalysts were investigated for FTS reaction to verify the effects of mesoporosity to product distribution. |
