Mechanical and rheological properties of Azidated Polyepichlorohydrin(Az-PECH)/Ethylene-Vinyl acetate(EVA) Blends |
초록 |
Polyepichlorohydrin rubber was treated with sodium azide(NaN3) to replace its chlorine by azide(N3). Then the azidated polyepichlrohydrin rubber(Az-PECH) was blended with ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer with the Az-PECH/EVA blend ratio of 50/50, 60/40 and 70/30.The mechanical, dynamic mechanical and rheological properties of the blends were examined by tensile test, DMA and ARES, respectively. The dynamic storage modulus and tensile strength of the blends were decreasedwith increasing Az-PECH content in the blends. The melt viscosity of the blends decreased with increasing shear rate, indicating a shear thinning behavior. The blends exhibit typical thermoplastic elastomeric behavior. |
